Westside Alive

Training and mobilizing believers to live on mission.

Matthew 9:37-38

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

There are people everywhere that are ready and waiting to hear the Gospel, and that need to be made spiritually ALIVE through Jesus. Whether it is homeless, children, relatives, coworkers, or neighbors, there are opportunities to share Jesus all around us. Come join other believers at Westside ALIVE to learn and practice how to live on mission, and then to use your experience to Always Live In View of Eternity in your daily life and in your local church.

Objectives of Westside Alive

Motivate

We desire to motivate Christians to start and develop caring relationships with non-believers.

How?   By providing hands-on opportunities to work with non-believers through food distributions, children’s ministry, Bible studies, Keiki carnivals, etc.

Equip

We want to equip Christ-followers to share their faith through hands-on experiences.

How?  By taking Christians out among people who need Jesus, and give them the opportunity to learn how to love, talk about the Bible, pray out loud, follow up, and disciple.

Reach

We hope to reach the lost in all of Oahu and connect them with local churches where possible.

How?  By working with local churches who have a vision to reach the lost with the Gospel, and to make disciples as Jesus commanded us to do.
